During the 5th, 6th and 7th of July 2022, the RECYCLES project successfully brought the second workshop entitled “Metagenomics and metabarcoding approaches to describe ecological systems and infer their development”, which was hold in Pisa, Italy, mainly organized by Università di Pisa and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
Different researchers from all the RECYCLES partners had the opportunity to explain their experiences in the field of metagenomics and metabarcoding and their ongoing work regarding the RECYCLES project to more than 100 participants. Moreover, the final session, organized by Dr. Francesco Vitali from the Research Centre for Agriculture and Environment, Council for Agricultural Research and Economics (CREA-AA) in Florence, included a practical training on metabarcoding analysis and the use of different tools to address it, which was addressed to all the public.
