Jimmy Anderson Martínez, PhD student from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (Chile) is now seconded in Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. He will be working during 2021 with the Bioprocess Engineering and Applied Biocatalysis research Group of the Department of Chemical, Biological and Environmental Engineering of the UAB and his main goal is to test an innovative system to produce acetate and ethanol through CO₂ reduction using the microorganism Clostridium autoethanogenum conceived in WP 1.
