Even though the exceptional situation the world is passing through, the RECYCLES project is still working on to achieve its implementation. In this sense, PhD student Cecilia Polizzi, an early stage researcher (ESR) from the Universita degli Studi di Firenze (UNIFI), started her secondment in AERIS Tecnologías Ambientales S.L. the past 20th of April, being the first secondment of the RECYCLES project. The initiation of this secondment has been possible since Cecilia Polizzi was in a previous stay related to her PhD in the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UNIBA) before the lockdown.
The stablished workplan is focused on Work Package 1 – Developing innovative bioreactors, and during the time the lockdown continues, she will be teleworking on mathematical modelling of bioprocesses together with AERIS personnel.
