Mrs Ajcharreya Manmeen, PhD student from Prince of Songkla University in Thailand, is now seconded for five months at Università degli Studi di Firenze, collaborating with Prof. Giulio Munz and Serena Falcioni in the operation and monitoring of a bench-scale bioreactor for the recovery of PHA from high-saline wastewaters for its further evaluation through mathematical modelling. Once her secondment at UNIFI finishes, she will continue carrying out her research tasks within another secondment at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
